Located on the vibrant Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, LAVO Los Angeles stands out as a premier Italian dining destination where exceptional cuisine meets an electric yet sophisticated atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you're transported away from the usual LA scene into an exquisitely designed space that balances warmth and modern elegance—perfect for everything from lively dinners to intimate, cozy date nights.
The menu dazzles with classic Italian staples, expertly reimagined with fresh, bold flavors. Start your journey with refined starters like the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare or the irresistibly fresh Oysters on the Half Shell. For the main course, you simply cannot miss the rich, comforting Chicken Parmigiano, the iconic Meatball with robust seasoning, or the light, aromatic Tagliatelle Al Limone. And if you're craving pizza, the Margherita showcases perfect balance with fresh basil, creamy mozzarella, and a beautifully crisp crust.
Elevate your meal with tempting contorni such as the earthy Funghi Misti wild mushrooms enhanced by fresh herbs, or the luxurious Black Truffle French Fries sprinkled with pecorino romano. These sides provide a rich, flavorful complement that takes each bite to new heights.
No Italian meal is complete without a decadent dessert, and LAVO’s offerings here are nothing short of spectacular. The 20 Layer Chocolate Cake is a showstopper — a luscious devil’s food cake layered with peanut butter mascarpone that melts in your mouth. Alternatively, delight in the classic Tiramisu, with its creamy mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers, or the silky smooth Affogato served with caffè napoletano biscotti crumble, perfect to round off your dining experience.
To complement the culinary pleasures, LAVO’s specialty cocktails are artfully crafted and bursting with personality. The Paloma Italiano defies expectations with its vibrant blend of tequila, aperol, grapefruit, and a hint of torched rosemary, creating a refreshing yet complex sip. For those seeking something a little different, the Melograno E Pera mixes blanco tequila with prickly pear and pomegranate, giving you a uniquely fruity and tantalizing cocktail that perfectly matches the vibe of the evening.
Guests consistently rave about the restaurant’s inviting ambiance and attentive service. Tania “TiiTii” O captures this beautifully, noting how LAVO feels like an escape from West Hollywood, enhanced by an exceptional brunch and cocktails that stand out for their depth and flavor—far from the watered-down versions you might expect. Sammi L. praises the “Greatest Hits” three-course menu for offering an effortless way to enjoy the best dishes while appreciating the warm, friendly service that makes every occasion special. Meanwhile, Andrea Conner highlights the fresh and flavorful Caesar salad and the convenience of valet parking, underscoring the restaurant’s thoughtful approach to guests’ needs.

From the intoxicating aroma of fresh herbs and espresso to the silky textures and bright citrus notes on your palate, this restaurant truly turns dining into an art form.
This place is amazing. The decor inside makes you feel like you are in a whole other place and no longer in West Hollywood. The endless brunch which is only $55 is great but the drinks here are drinkingggg lol. Their paloma doesn’t taste like your typical watered down squirt with tequila. It’s fruity and tasty. I also had and Buna Notta which is like an elevate espresso martini. It’s basically a whole dessert in a drink. They have some of the best deviled eggs with caviar. I ordered twice bc they were so good and I needed my protein for the day! lol I love to brunch…brunches are the best here! They are a whole vibe. I was actually a tourist this time around since i was visiting a friend from out of town. I haven’t had the chance to come to dinner but maybe I’ll make time for dinner on my next visit. There is an amazing employee name Destiny … who gave us great drink recommendations The staff here is all very accommodating and the service is excellent every time I’ve been here. they are always on point and super pleasant
Lavo was an excellent choice for dinner, especially with their three-course "Greatest Hits" menu. The food was good and well-prepared, making it easy when you don't know what to eat. The service was great for the staff's friendliness, adding to the overall atmosphere. This spot is such a vibe and perfect for casual dining or a cozy date night. They also offer parking validation, which brings valet parking down to $18. :)
Lavo is such a gem! The staff is friendly, attentive, and they really make you feel welcome. The food was excellent, and my favorite was definitely the Caesar salad, it is so fresh and flavorful. I also really appreciated the valet parking, which made the experience even more convenient. The inside of the restaurant is super cute with a warm, stylish vibe. Can’t wait to come back.
Went here for the 1st time for my birthday on a Saturday with 6 others. I had a great time! The food was delicious, the server/host was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous and the venue was beautiful. I had the Black Truffle Fries, the Burrata Ravioli, and the Lavo-lini cocktail, which was perfect for me because I drink alcohol only on rare occasion and this drink was smooth and not strong, with a bit of sweetness to it. My daughter had the Margherita Pizza, and one of my girlfriends had the Burrata Pizza and a Beet Salad. Everyone loved their meals. We did the valet parking because there's minimal street parking and it was $22. And my reservation was for 6:00pm which was a great time to come as it wasn't too full yet and by 8:00 pm it had filled up nicely. I'm very pleased and I'll definitely return.
Had been to the Meatpacking NYC location in my younger years and remembered it being a fun time for a large group. Was back home in LA a couple weekends back bc decided to host a large party here. Admittedly I was much more raucous back then in my 20s (where does the time go?) and was more interested in the bottle service than the food. That’s all changed and now I’m much more about the food and service above all else. Lavo brunch is still perfect for any large group and the team is accustomed to handling large parties. The music and energy is still lively making for a fun atmosphere to celebrate. The West Hollywood location has an endless option for food and bottomless drinks. I thought it was odd that once you wrapped up, the team didn’t allow you to take home any of the leftovers. Seemed pretty wasteful. I get not wanting to have people take advantage, I just hope they don’t throw all that food away and let it go to waste. Overall was very pleased with the service, atmosphere and food.
